Cindy & Bert was a German Schlagerduo, which became known in the 1970s and had great success.

Career

Norbert " Bert" Maria Berger (born in September 12, 1945 July Voelklingen / Saarland, † 14, 2012 in Dusseldorf ), trained as an industrial merchant, came from a family of musicians. His grandfather Josef Berger was from 1888 to 1931, his father Alex Berger from 1931 to 1973 organist at the Catholic parish church of St. Eligius in Völklingen. Norbert Berger was at the beginning of the 1960s, electric bass player in the amateur band, Blue Birds' for which a singer was sought.

Jutta Gusenburger ( born January 26, 1948 in Völklingen / Saarland ), then student, later insurance clerk, this band then appeared as, Jutta and the Royal Quintet 'on. Since 1965, Norbert Berger and Jutta Gusenburger were as vocal duo under the name, Cindy & Bert ' go.
