Císařov

Císařov ( German Kaiserwerth ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located seven kilometers west of Přerov and belongs to Okres Přerov.

Geography

The Moravian village street Císařov is located on the right side of the Bečva in the Hanna and extends over a length of 808 m from southeast to northwest. The width dimension is 152 m.

Neighboring towns are Brodek u Přerova in the north, Luková in the northeast, Rokytnice in the east, in the southeast Henčlov, Troubky in the south, and trnI Tovačov in the southwest and Citov in the West.

History

After the 1782 were made in the course of the Josephine reforms resolution of the Dominican monastery of St. Catherine in Olomouc the convent Zittenhof ( Citov ) fell to the religious foundation and was parceled out.

1785 was built on the Zittenhofer goods, about two kilometers east of Zittenhof, the scale of 50 Familia Tens Tellen village Josefslust. However, the Councilor from Joachim von Stettenhofen in honor of Emperor Joseph II selected name found little favor with the residents and was soon changed to Kaiserwerth and finally modified in Kaiserwerth. The first settlers were from the villages Citov and Svésedlice. In the 19th century the Czech name Císařov arose.

After the abolition of patrimonial Císařov / Kaiserwerth formed in 1850 a municipality in the district Kroměříž. 1880 were allocated to the district Přerov. Between 1983 and 1990 the place was incorporated to Brodek u Přerova.

  • Statue of St. Anne with Two Others, originating from the dissolved monastery Hradisko sculpture is probably the work of the Olomouc sculptor Philipp Sattler and was purchased by the parish priest Tichý 1795 and erected in the village square
