Čistěves

Čistěves until 1999 Číštěves ( German Cistowes, also Czistowes, 1939-45 Volume village) is a village in the Czech Republic. You more than twelve kilometers north- west of the center of Hradec Králové and belongs to Okres Hradec Králové.

Geography

Čistěves located at a left tributary of the Bystřice between the hills Svib ( Swiep, 330 m) and Chlum ( 337 m) in the foothills of the mountain Horschitzer country.

Neighboring towns are Hněvčeves and Benátky in the north, and Hořiněves Máslojedy in the northeast, Sendražice in the east, and Neděliště Chlum the southeast, Lipa in the south, Horni Dohalice in the southwest, and Dohalice Sadová in the west and Sovětice in the northwest.

History

The first written mention of the village took place in 1225th

After the abolition of patrimonial Čistoves formed in 1850 a municipality in the district of Hradec Kralove. On July 3, 1866 met during the German war in the vicinity of the village the hostile Prussian and Austrian troops on each other. The bloody battle for the north of the village located Swiepwald and the hill Chlum in the south has become known as the Battle of Hradec Kralove in the story. In 1919 the town was named Číštěves. After the Munich Agreement, the village was from 1938, close to the German Reich. During the time of the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia The municipality became the Germanized name Lauterbrunnen village.

1949 Číštěves was assigned to the Hradec Kralove region - okolí and came to its dissolution on 1 January 1961 Okres Hradec Králové. In 1971, the incorporation of Máslojedy, Chlum and Lipa. In 1989 Číštěves was connected with its suburbs to the community Všestary. Since 1990, the community is Číštěves again. On October 1, 1999, the municipality changed its name to Čistěves.
