Claudia Bryar

Claudia Bryar, a native Hortense Rizley ( born May 18, 1918 in Guymon, Oklahoma, † June 16, 2011 in Los Angeles, California ) was an American actress.

Life

Claudia Bryar was born as Hortense Rizley. She was the daughter of Congressman and Federal Judge Ross Rizley. Her acting career began at the Pasadena Playhouse. She played at several theaters before in several television series and minor roles in movies has established itself as a film actress mid-1950s. Until her retirement from acting in 1986 she appeared in over 100 different film and television productions. She stepped in a few episodes in TV series such as Bonanza, The Waltons and Barnaby Jones, as well as smaller roles in films such as giants and Bad Company on.

On June 16, 2011 Bryar died at the age of 93 years. Up to his death on August 30, 1985 she was married to actor Paul Bryar. She left the three common sons and was survived by nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
