Clayton M. Christensen

Clayton M. Christensen ( born April 6, 1952 in Salt Lake City, Utah) is an American economist. His research focuses on innovation in companies. In his book The Innovator's Dilemma ( 1997), he discussed his theory of disruptive technology. He was bishop of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter -day Saints. Since 1992 Christensen at Harvard Business School professor of business. He previously worked for the Boston Consulting Group.
