Clintonia uniflora is a species of the genus Clintonia in the lily family ( Liliaceae ). It is native to the northwest and western North America.
Description
Clintonia uniflora grows as a perennial herbaceous plant, reaching heights of growth 15 to 25 centimeters. Are formed as outlasting rhizomes. Are built up on the stem two to three true leaves. Occurrence
The natural range of Clintonia uniflora includes the northwest and west of Canada and the United States. In Canada, this species occurs in British Columbia and Alberta. In the U.S. they are found in Alaska, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Oregon and California.
Clintonia uniflora occurs mainly in mountainous coniferous mixed forests at altitudes before 0-2600 meters.
