Reviews

" Somehow, one can not help feeling that the bite of the first part and much of its originality are fallen by the wayside. Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 is certainly not a total disaster, but also not a film to which one will remember for a long time, the one constantly wants to see again, or shows a lot of innovation. "

" " Power to the children, " shouted Herbert Grönemeyer mid 80s flirty demanding full fervor and conviction in one of his hits. What happens when Hollywood actually does bold idea, we could marvel at 2009 - because of the clever- scatterbrained inventor Flint crashed his young mind the world in the animated movie adaptation of Judi Barrett's children's classic Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs as quasi- rulers into chaos, after one of its engines was completely out of control and monstrous amounts of food spat that threatened to suffocate the human habitat. The directors Cody Cameron and Kris Pearn draw the bow now in the sequel further and offer similar overexcited - hysterical entertainment as the original. Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 is an amusing and adventurous 3D fun for the young viewers, while the older ones are soothed with some witty pop culture references. "

" [ ... ] Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 is good entertainment, but was trying to play it safe, so that the vision of the original is missing. Yet still makes everything fun and that is the selling point of the film: the fast-paced and sometimes charming humor. Thus Sony has in the end so something with the great competition and their success in common, because the second part of its newly established franchise as it is with Me, Despicable 2 from Universal. A largely successful and amusing animation that works well, but in which it might be in there much longer. "

"Or as an allegory to the reduction of Ekelschwelle against junk food and Novelty. XXL tacos ( like that of a well-known fast -food chain ) and fat creations from leftover meat (such as the three well-known fast - food chains ) are the horrors that many like to swallow because they are used to it. The hyperactive animations blend instead of a rousing tale to an educational film about food styling. Everything looks to take the bait so that you have to be as ruthless as Chester Vs Company Live Corp. ( left: eviL ). , In order not to like "
