Coat of arms of Ossetia
The coat of arms of South Ossetia corresponds to the coat of arms of North Ossetia to the label. Description

History
The coat of arms was created by Prince Vakhushti Bagrationi 1735. The original drawing is in the Georgian manuscript collection in Tbilisi. The coat of arms of the recognized government of Georgia of the Provisional Administration of South Ossetia unit shows the same basic design with the snow leopard, the golden hills and the white mountains against a red background.
