Colentina River

The Tina Cole in Romania

The Tina Cole is a small river in Southern Romania, which rises about 50 kilometers northwest of Bucharest, in the foothills of the Southern Carpathians and flows through the northern districts of the Romanian capital.

In the urban area it forms numerous formerly marshy lakes which were mounted in the 1930s, and incorporated into newly created parks. From northwest to southeast, these are the Lacul Mogoşoaia, Lacul Straulesti, Lacul Griviţa, Baneasa, Herăstrău, Floreasca, Tei, Plumbuita, Fundeni, pantelimon, and the Lacul Cernica.

A few kilometers east of Bucharest leads the Tina Cole in the Dâmboviţa.
