Copa de Oro

The Copa de Oro Nicolás Leoz, too ( Portuguese: Copa Ouro ), was a short-lived South American club football competition organized by the Confederación Sudamericana de Fútbol ( CONMEBOL ) and named after its president Nicolas Leoz. The competition was provided annually from 1993, but was soon discontinued due to lack of interest again.

Were eligible to participate, the four winners of the previous year, the Copa Libertadores, the Super Copa Libertadores, the Copa Master Super Copa Libertadores (1996 Copa Conmebol master) and the Copa Conmebol, respectively. The Partienen were decided partly in return game, some in only one game.
