Corey Brewer

Corey Wayne Brewer ( born March 5, 1986 in Portland, Tennessee ) is an American professional basketball player who plays in the NBA since 2007.

Brewer played three years for the basketball team of the University of Florida. In 2006 and 2007 he won the college basketball championship with Joakim Noah and Al Horford. All three players signed up for the 2007 NBA Draft. Corey Brewer was drafted as the seventh player from the Minnesota Timberwolves. In four seasons with the ' Wolves ' Brewer could not prevail, so that he was transferred in February 2011 to the New York Knicks. However, for the Knicks, he completed no game, he was instead released on 1 March 2011, by which he became a free agent. The Dallas Mavericks committed Brewer on March 3, 2011, and furnished him with a three- year contract. Before the start of season 2011/2012 he was transferred from the Mavericks along with Rudy Fernandez to the Denver Nuggets. After his contract expired in the summer of 2013, Brewer moved back to the Minnesota Timberwolves.

2011 Brewer won with the Dallas Mavericks to the NBA championship.
