The Costa Fascinosa is a cruise ship of Costa Crociere. The Costa Fascinosa is largely identical to the earlier ships Costa Favolosa.

History

The keel of the vessel was completed on 3 September 2010 in the shipyard of Fincantieri Marghera in Italy. The ship was put into service on 5 May 2012. In the years 2012 and 2013 the ship conducted in summer Mediterranean cruises from Venice through the winter months South America cruises.

Technology

The Costa Fascinosa has cold ironing, a shore power supply system for ships for the duration of the stay in port. Thus, the engine can be parked in the harbor, which the emissions reduced.
