Costa Rica took part in the Summer Olympic Games 2000 in Sydney, Australia, with a delegation of seven athletes ( five men, two women ) participated. It was her eleventh participation in the Olympic Summer Games. It could be won two bronze medals. Standard-bearer was Karina Fernandez.
