Crimson Thunder (English for " Purple Thunder " ) is the fourth studio album by the Swedish power metal band Hammerfall. It was released in 2002 on Nuclear Blast. For the album, the band during, recorded through for the live album One Crimson Night concert in Gothenburg was awarded on 20 February 2003 with a gold record.

Formation

The recordings for the first album with Charlie Bauerfeind as producers, lasted about seven weeks, and were towards the end of July 2002 completed. The band was first completed ahead of schedule, which found the band members as very unusual.
