Crookedwood, (Irish Tigh Munna / Taghmon ) is a town in County Westmeath, Leinster Province, Republic of Ireland.

General

Crookedwood is a small town on the southeastern end of Lough Derravaragh, at the southern foot of the Knockeyon. It is about 8 km north of Mullingar, the capital of County Westmeath, removed. The regional road from County Cavan to Mullingar goes through the village. The surrounding hills are covered with pine forests.

The Lough Derravaragh is offered by the community as anglers ground for European and American tourists. Crookedwood GAA is the local hurling club, which plays in the Intermediate Division of Westmeath Hurling Championship.
