Da Hinggan Ling Prefecture
The county of Great Hinggan Mountains ( Chinese大兴安岭 地区/大兴安岭 地区, Pinyin Da Xing'an Lǐng Diqu ) is an administrative subdivision of the Chinese province of Heilongjiang. Its administrative area covers the extreme north- west of the province and part of the Oroqenischen Autonomous Banner, Hulun Buir city that belongs to the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. At this unique in China Special Administrative case, it is officially called, the surface (the bottom ) belong to Inner Mongolia and was part of the Oroqenischen Autonomous Banner, the area but will be managed by the Heilongjiang Province. The unusual thing about this design is enhanced by the fact that the main town and administrative headquarters of the district of the greater community Jagdaqi in the subdistrict Jagdaqi and is thus in Inner Mongolia.
Geography
The landscape of the governmental district is dominated by the forests of the Great Hinggan Mountains, which can be classified as taiga, for the most part. Predominant are larches and birches. Permafrost is widespread. The county administers a large part of the living wood reserves of China, the most important economic sector is forestry. The total area of the administrative region is likely to be 82,697 km ² in size, although there are serious information about 84,600 km ². Of these, at least 17,386 km ² (possibly up to 18,000 km ²) in Inner Mongolia, so that the area ² ( according to other sources about 66.6 thousand km ² ) is likely to be large within Heilongjiang 65,311 km.
Administrative Divisions
The county of Great Hinggan Mountains consists of three districts and four counties, two of which are in Inner Mongolia ( Jagdaqi and Songling ) and two in Heilongjiang ( Xinlin and Huzhong ) lie.
