Da Hinggan Ling Prefecture

The county of Great Hinggan Mountains ( Chinese大兴安岭 地区/大兴安岭 地区, Pinyin Da Xing'an Lǐng Diqu ) is an administrative subdivision of the Chinese province of Heilongjiang. Its administrative area covers the extreme north- west of the province and part of the Oroqenischen Autonomous Banner, Hulun Buir city that belongs to the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. At this unique in China Special Administrative case, it is officially called, the surface (the bottom ) belong to Inner Mongolia and was part of the Oroqenischen Autonomous Banner, the area but will be managed by the Heilongjiang Province. Geography

The landscape of the governmental district is dominated by the forests of the Great Hinggan Mountains, which can be classified as taiga, for the most part. Predominant are larches and birches. Administrative Divisions

The county of Great Hinggan Mountains consists of three districts and four counties, two of which are in Inner Mongolia ( Jagdaqi and Songling ) and two in Heilongjiang ( Xinlin and Huzhong ) lie.
