Shuangyashan
Shuangyashan simplified:双鸭山 市, traditional:双鸭山 市, pinyin: Shuangyashan Shì, literally city of Entenpaar mountains is a Chinese prefecture-level city in northeast China's Heilongjiang Province. The name refers to two peaks northeast of the city.
Geography and demography
Shuangyashan located about 100 km south of the Russian border. The prefecture-level city is made up of four city districts and four counties. It has a total area of 26,483 km ². At the census in 2000 1.448.349 inhabitants were counted ( population density 54.69 inh. / Km ²). The end of 2005, the population was estimated at 1.5 million.

- Baoqing County (宝清县), 13,443 km ², 420,000 inhabitants, capital: large village Baoqing (宝清 镇);
- Circle Raohe (饶河县), 6613 km ², 140,000 inhabitants, capital: greater community Raohe (饶河 镇).

Economy
Shuangyashan is a center of coal mining, and steel, it is there but generated. The area around Shuangyashan was very sparsely populated, was discovered until 1914, coal, since 1928, the coal reserves are mined on a large scale.
Traffic
A railway line connects with Shuangyashan Jiamusi.
Culture
Quite near Shuangyashan there is a sanctuary for tigers, and a larger number of historically significant places from the Sino-Japanese War ( 1937-1945 ).
