Dagmar Pecková

Dagmar Peckova ( born April 4, 1961 in Medlešice in Chrudim ) is a Czech mezzo-soprano.

Dagmar Peckova completed her vocal studies at the Prague Conservatory. Since 1985 she worked at the Opera Studio of the Semper Opera House. In 1989, she joined the ensemble of the Staatsoper Berlin. Peckova among others at the Salzburg Festival, at the Bavarian State Opera, the National Theatre in Prague, at the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden, the Dresden State Opera, the Hamburg State Opera, Staatstheater Stuttgart and Zurich Opera House occurred.

She won the first prize at the Prague Spring and the Dvořák Competition and 1999, the Thalia Award.

Peckova is married to a German and lives in Heuweiler at Freiburg.
