Geography

The community is located between Dahlum Schoeppenstedt and Schoningen on the B 82 and extends over an area of ​​15.12 km ². The county town of Wolfenbüttel is located about 22 km to the west. The population amounts to 781, of which 380 men and 401 women (as at 31 December 2002). This results in a population density of 52 inhabitants / km ².
