Dani (singer)

Dani ( born October 1, 1945 in Castres as Danièle Graule ) is a French actress and singer.

As an actress, she was known in 1973 with the role of the script in François Truffaut's volunteer Liliane Day for Night. Five years later, Truffaut attacked the role of Liliane for his last Antoine Doinel film Love on the run again: Well Liliane is the girlfriend of with Doinel ( Léaud ) married Christine ( Claude Jade ), who has an affair with Antoine. Truffaut used for the flashback sequences from two of the American night.

Dani was nominated for her role as senior theater concierge Claudie in a perfect place for a César Award for Best Supporting Actress. However, they had to concede defeat Valérie Lemercier, who plays aspiring actress Catherine verses in the same film.

In 1974, she should represent France at Euro Vision Song Contest with the song La vie à 25 ans, then was unable to attend, however, because President Georges Pompidou died in the week of the competition and the participation of France was canceled.
