Daniel Haas ( born August 1, 1983 in Erlenbach am Main ) is a German football goalkeeper.

Career

Club career

Youth and Eintracht Frankfurt

Haas started at BSC Else field in 1987 with the football games. From there he moved in 1996 in the youth department of Eintracht Frankfurt. In the 2001/02 season in the Oberliga Hessen Haas was wagered 15 times. In 2002 he enlisted as a substitute goalkeeper on the first team, but remained there without use.

Hannover 96

After one season in the second division Haas moved to Hanover 96 In three seasons, he was mainly in the amateur team that played at this time in the Football Oberliga Niedersachsen, used. At his only Bundesliga use he came on the final day of the season 2003/ 04 against VfL Bochum.

TSG 1899 Hoffenheim

In summer 2005, Haas was loaned to Hoffenheim to gain match practice in the Regionalliga. After he had remained under Hansi Flick League without use, he acquired under Lorenz -Günther Köstner and later Ralf Rangnick a regular place.

After the rise in the second Bundesliga, he signed a two-year contract for the 2007 /08 season at TSG Hoffenheim. On the 17th matchday Haas injured during the game against SpVgg Greuther Fürth. As a replacement Ramazan Özcan was on loan from Red Bull Salzburg. Even after recovering from his injury remained Haas after the promotion to the Bundesliga until the 2008/09 season in the only place on the substitutes' bench. After Özcans services had been increasingly criticized, Haas returned to the Hoffenheim goal back, but was replaced during the winter break by signing Timo Hildebrand and came to 2010 only as a substitute Hildebrand used. For the 2010/11 season the club engaged after Hildebrand's departure as a new goalkeeper Tom Starke. Since this injured the middle of the first round, Haas was re- inserts in the Bundesliga.

In a test match against the county division FSG Altendiez Haas was first used as a field player.

1 FC Union Berlin

The 2012 expiring contract was not renewed by Haas at TSG Hoffenheim. Haas then signed a contract with the second division 1 FC Union Berlin, which is valid until 2014.

National

He was appointed to the national youth teams of the DFB. On 30 May 2001 he was employed in a preseason game for the Junior World Cup in 2001 as a 17- year-old in the U-20 Junior National Team.
