Daniel Offenbacher

Daniel Offenbacher (born 18 February 1992 Scheifling ) is an Austrian football player at the position of midfielder. He is currently with FC Red Bull Salzburg under contract, but awarded to the SC Wiener Neustadt from the 2012/13 season.

Career

Youth

Offenbacher began his career as a football player at the age of six years, in March 1998 the newcomers his home club SV Scheifling. When football club in the small Styrian municipality Scheifling ( Murau ) in which he grew up and he went through several youth leagues before he moved to the youth department and at the same time to the academy of FC Red Bull Salzburg in January 2006. There he came into the U-17 and U-19 used, the latter team has their gaming operations in the sponsored Toto U-19 Youth League. For the team, he completed by the summer of 2010 25 league matches and scored three goals.

Moreover took Offenbacher 19 to 21 June 2009, a selection of Red Bull Salzburg young players in an international football tournament in the Red Bull Arena in part. At the tournament, smaller or local teams ( FC Sachsen Leipzig, FK Austria Wien and Graz AK) were youth teams from several European top clubs such as Real Madrid, Grasshoppers Zurich and Dinamo Zagreb, but represented. During the tournament, Offenbach was in several games in use. His best game was the small final for 3rd place against the offspring of the GAK, where he led the template for Alexander Aschauers second goal was in the 20th minute and then in 56 minutes even netted the score 3-0.

Club career

During his time at the academy came Offenbacher his first professional use. On 16 October 2009 he made his debut when he came into the game for Pascal Stoeger in a 2-2 home draw against FC Wacker Innsbruck in 63 minutes. For the season 2010/ 11 after the second team of Salzburg were relegated to the Regionalliga West, he is fixed in the squad the team and wears the jersey with the number 11 on October 16, 2010 he played his first game in the first team against Kapfenberg SV. He came off the bench in 68 minutes for the captain Ibrahim Sekagya. Overall, he came in the 2010/11 season four times to fires in the first team. In the winter of 2012, he was awarded for six months to the First League club FC Blau- Weiss Linz to get there game practice. Overall, he came up with three inserts in the second highest Austrian league. In the 2012/13 season played Offenbach loan with the SC Wiener Neustadt in the Bundesliga. In May 2013 it was announced that Offenbacher change into Styria for SK Sturm Graz.

Internationally

His first international experience could Offenbacher gather with the U-16 and U- 17 team in his home country, where he took part for the latter to qualifying for the U-17 European Championship in 2009. Previously, he was appointed coach Hermann Stadler in the 18 -man squad for the so-called elite round (2nd qualifying round). In the three games the elite round, he played in the 1-2 defeat against the Italian U -17 by the full time and was on his second mission in the game against Georgia ( 3-0 ) minutes from the 76th through his Red Bull team-mate Luke Gunzinam replaced. In the end, the team narrowly failed to participate to the European Championships, although the last game - without the participation open Bacher - was won 2-0 against Scotland. From 2009 to 2010, the young midfielder was at the U-18 squad in his home country and completed for the team five competitive games. He was employed on 16 September 2009, the 1:2 away defeat in a friendly against the Swiss U-18 selection. In the game he was replaced from the 78th minute through Robert Zulj. In 2010 was followed by a further three international appearances for the U-19 national team of Austria, for which he came to a total of two goals. He also has been appointed to the Austrian junior team, where he has not yet, however, came to his debut, and sometimes just stood in the extended squad.
