Robert Žulj

Robert Žulj ( born February 5, 1992 Wels ) is an Austrian- Croatian football player. Since January 2014 he plays in the team of FC Red Bull Salzburg in the Austrian Bundesliga.

His younger brother Peter to less than a year Žulj is currently active with the wolf Berger AC.

Career

Beginning of his career at FC Wels

His active career began Žulj that contains both the Austrian and the Croatian citizenship, in 1999 in his native city of Wels in Upper Austria in the resident FC Wels. Over the entire season, it brought the actual offensive players to just three league goals that he scored in all sponsored by Toto U-15 Youth League. A complete goal drought finally came in the championship of 2007/ 08, in which he was even without any scoring, which should, however, change significantly in the subsequent season. In named 2008/09 season came to Žulj old offensive strength again and became a true scorer within the sponsored Toto U-17 Youth League. For this purpose, a total of four goals came in the two U-18 teams of FC Wels. In the course of the season he came with all his league operations at a number of 25 goals scored.

This run continued in the 2009/10 season in the TOTO - U-19 Youth League, where he quickly became one of the most prolific players in the league, which should be rewarded at the end of the season. In 22 league games completed it brought the young offensive player in 16 goals, making him not only the top scorer of his team, but also earned him top scorer crown 2009/10. Furthermore, it was used this season in a U-18 team of FC Wels, where he was also equally successful with a hit in a single game in the completed O.Ö F U18 junior league.

Change to Ried and pro debut

With the goal scorer crown of the U-19 Youth League in the pocket of cooperation Player of the Football Academy Linz, short FAL was added and FC Wels by the Upper Austrian club SV Ried. There he was to initially gain experience in the second team of the club with gaming operations in the fourth division division of Upper Austria and are recommended over time so for the gambling at this time in the Austrian Bundesliga professional team. His first enlistment in the U-19 squad in Austria received the Croatian -born actor offensive early August 2010 for a friendly match against the U-19 national team of Russia. FC Red Bull Salzburg

During the winter break of the season 2013/14 Robert Žulj signed a two and a half year contract with FC Red Bull Salzburg to June 2016. In the Bundesliga, as in the Europa League, he came to Salzburg due to the rotation principle equal to several missions as a center forward.
