Darnell Hinson

Darnell Hinson ( born May 28, 1980 in Muskogee, Oklahoma) is an American professional basketball player with Puerto Rican passport. After completing his studies in his home country Hinson first played professionally in Europe and Australia, before he used the summer break to play in his second home, Puerto Rico and the Philippines. In Europe, he was active in the past in the German 2nd Bundesliga basketball, the Netherlands, France and Poland, and since the end of 2012 in the Austrian Bundesliga for the Gunners from Oberwart.

Career

Hinson graduated from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, the headquarters of the Cherokee Nation. The Indian embossed university also has a campus in Hinson's home town.
