David Acevedo

David Acevedo ( born February 20, 1937) is a former Argentine footballer. With the national team of his native country, he participated in the Football World Cup 1958.

Career

Club career

David Acevedo began his footballing career in 1956 at CA Independiente in Avellaneda, an industrial suburb of Argentina's capital Buenos Aires. He played almost his entire career for Independiente, in 1969 he left the club in the direction of CA Banfield, where he later that year ended his career. With Independiente won David Acevedo, who acted in the position of a defender, three times the Argentine football championship. For the first time victorious Acevedo was with Independiente in 1960, when the team to Argentine football greats such as Roberto Ferreiro, José Varacka or just Acevedo in the Primera División first place with two points ahead of CA River Plate finished.
