1965 Copa Libertadores
The Copa Libertadores 1965 was the 6th edition of the most important South American football competition for club teams. 10 teams took part, including 7 national champion last year and from Argentina titleholder CA Independiente, as well as the winner of the Cup competition in Brazil, the Taça Brasil, and in Bolivia, since there is no national championship was not held. No representative at the start had Colombia. The tournament started on 31 January and ended on 15 April 1965, the final Entscheidugnsspiel. The Argentine representative CA Independiente won the final against Peñarol Montevideo, defending his title from last year.
