David Laliberté

David Laliberté ( born March 17, 1986 in Saint -Jean -sur -Richelieu, Quebec ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who was until April 2012 at the Grizzly Adams Wolfsburg in the German Ice Hockey League contract.

Career

David Laliberté began his career as a hockey player in the Canadian Junior Football League QMJHL, where he from 2002 to 2007 for Rocket de Montréal and PEI Rocket was active. During this period, he was selected in the NHL Entry Draft in 2004 in the fourth round as a total of 124 players from the Philadelphia Flyers. After the winger initially for two years for their minor league farm teams, the Philadelphia Phantoms had been in the American Hockey League and Wheeling Nailers in the ECHL on the ice, he gave over the 2009/10 season his debut in the National Hockey League for the Philadelphia flyers. As before, however, he joined in parallel for their new farm team, the Adirondack Phantoms in the AHL on. On 21 November 2010 he was transferred together with Patrick Maroon for Rob Bordson and Danny Syvret to the Anaheim Ducks. This then sent him to the Syracuse Crunch in the AHL.

In Syracuse Laliberté was set as starting player, before he was discharged together with Stefan Chaput in exchange for Brian McGrattan and Sean Zimmerman to the Boston Bruins just before the trade deadline 27 February 2011, the him to the farm team for the Providence Bruins in the AHL sent. In July 2011, the striker has been committed by the Grizzly Adams Wolfsburg of the German Ice Hockey League and comes with a contract for one season. In March 2012, Laliberté suffered a cruciate ligament injury in training. In April it was announced that his contract is not renewed.
