Providence Bruins

The Providence Bruins are an American professional ice hockey club in Providence, Rhode Iceland, which plays in the American Hockey League ( AHL ).

History

1992 attracted the Maine Mariners from Portland, Maine to Providence and have been to the Providence Bruins. The team is closely connected with the Boston Bruins (NHL), they serve as a farm team. In 2005 she celebrated her 3000th game.

Her biggest success celebrated the Providence Bruins in the season 1998 /99. After the impressive number of 56 wins and 120 points, you can win in its first season in the second division of the Calder Cup under Peter Laviolette.
