San Antonio Rampage
The San Antonio Rampage are an ice hockey team in the American Hockey League. They play in the AT & T Center in San Antonio, Texas.
History
The Rampage emerged from the San Antonio Iguanas, a team which played in the Central Hockey League from 1994 to 2002. After the Iguanas due to disputes with the San Antonio Spurs, no more Arena had available, the team of the Spurs was purchased jointly with the Florida Panthers and renamed Rampage. From this point, they also played in the AHL. So far, the Rampage reached only once the play-offs, but where you eliminated in the first round.
First, the Rampage farm team the Panthers were (NHL ), but were after the takeover by the Phoenix Coyotes in 2005 their partners. In addition, the San Antonio Rampage worked together with the team of the CHL Laredo Bucks and in the 2009/10 season with the Anaheim Ducks of the NHL.
