David Leggio

David Leggio ( born July 31, 1984 in Buffalo, New York) is an American professional ice hockey goaltender who stands since 2010 with the Portland Pirates in the American Hockey League contract.

Career

David Leggio began his career as a hockey player in the youth team Capital District Selects, for those in the Eastern Junior Hockey League, he was on the ice from 2002 to 2004. In both seasons, he was elected to the first All-Star team in the league. Then he attended for four years, the Clarkson University and played in parallel for their hockey team in the National Collegiate Athletic Association. The greatest success for the goalkeeper in his time to the team of Clarkson University was winning the ECAC Hockey Championship in season 2006/07. In the same season he was elected to the first All -Star team in the league and their Goalkeeper of the Year. In addition, he was Most Valuable Player of his team.
