Deadline (magazine)

Deadline was a British magazine, published 1988-1996 by the two comic artists Brett Ewins and Steve Dillon.

The magazine included a mix of comics and articles and was aimed at an adult readership. A substantial portion of the articles reported on indie music and together with the comic strip received Deadline a subculture image. It is mainly known that in him the Tank Girl had its first performances. The remaining contents were new, others partly reprints of comics from the United States (for example, Milk and Cheese by Evan Dorkin or Planet Swerve by Glyn Dillon ). The content of Deadline was partially published in the USA, by the publisher Dark Horse Comics.

Owners and financiers was Tom Astor ( grandson of Nancy Astor ), editor was Frank Wynne.
