Deborah Garrison

Deborah Garrison (born 1965 in Ann Arbor, Michigan) is an American poet. She studied at Brown University where she earned a Bachelor and creative writing at New York University, where she received a master's degree in literature. After that, she worked for 15 years at The New Yorker in the newsroom, before moving to Alfred A. Knopf and Pantheon Books. Deborah Garrison lives in Montclair (New Jersey).
