Declan Rudd

Declan Thomas Rudd (born 16 January 1991 Diss ) is an English footballer. The goalkeeper plays since childhood for Norwich City, but in the second half of the season 2012/13 awarded to Preston North End.

Career

Rudd came as a nine year old to Norwich City and went through the youth section of the club. In 2008 he received his first pro contract and was instrumental in the collection of the youth team in the quarter-finals of the FA Youth Cup 2008 /09. In the summer of 2009, he received a new three -year contract and gave 26 September 2009 against FC Gillingham his competitive debut in the Football League One. At season's end, he had seven league games and a game in the FA Cup denied as Norwich climb as third league champion in the Football League Championship. In the subsequent second league season 2010/11, Rudd was behind substitute goalkeeper John Ruddy.
