Déjà Vu (software)

Déjà Vu is a translation tool (CAT ), which has its own user interface and database-driven translations possible.

Developer of the program, the company is Atril with current headquarters in Paris.

The current version is Déjà Vu X3, which was published in February 2014.

History

The first version of Déjà Vu was released in 1993 and was based on a Word interface. 1996 this operation was rejected in favor of a separate user interface.

Beginning of the last decade Déjà Vu was regarded as the strongest competitor to Trados. In 2004, the developer Emilio Benito, who was regarded as the driving force behind this program died.

Versions

The program is still under development. In the previous version, Déjà Vu X2 12 free updates, a total released with new features and improvements. The current program version is Déjà Vu X3 9.0.690.
