Del Monroe

Del Monroe ( born April 7, 1936 in Santa Barbara, California, † June 5, 2009 in Burbank, California ) was an American actor.

Life

Monroe became interested in acting during his time in the army. After his release, he has acted in over 30 plays at the Pasadena Playhouse. In 1961 he received the offer in Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea to take on the role of the Mariner Kowalski, which he interpreted in the subsequent TV series. With their producer Irwin Allen, he worked on other projects. He also had numerous guest appearances on such series as Mannix or The Incredible Hulk.

Monroe played on stage until his death; In 1996 he received the Drama - Logue Award for his lifelong stage performances.
