Delta Burke
Delta Ramona Leah Burke ( born July 30, 1956 in Orlando, Florida ) is an American actress.
Life
Delta Ramona Leah Burke was born as the daughter of single mother Jean. Without ever having met her biological father, she was by Frederick Burke, a real estate agent from Orlando, after he married her mother, adopted. In 1974 she received her degree at the Colonial High School. Since 1972, she was modeling. So she not only won the local beauty contest of the fire of Orlando as Miss Flame, the beauty contest in the country of the fire, but in 1974 at all also excellent as the youngest winner of the title of Miss Florida. This she took in 1975 automatically at Miss America contest and received a scholarship that enabled her to two years of study at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.
Delta Burke is married to actor Gerald McRaney since 28 May 1989. Both do not have common children, but has McRaney children from a previous relationship. The couple live together in Los Angeles, Telluride ( Colorado) and New Orleans.
Burke is designer and founder of her own fashion label Delta Burke Design. It also has in common with McRaney an antique shop in Collins, Mississippi. In addition to her diabetes and the compulsive hoarding syndrome was diagnosed in Burke, which is why she was in treatment.
