Denfert-Rochereau (Paris Métro)

Denfert- Rochereau is an underground station of the Paris Métro. It is located in the 14th arrondissement of Paris. The station is served by the metro line 4 and the Métro Line 6 of the Paris metro system. The name gives the overlying course. There is transit traffic to the RER B at the aboveground linked Gare de Denfert -Rochereau. The station is a transfer hubs in the south of Paris. The station of line 4 is below the Avenue du Général -Leclerc. The line 6 under the Boulevard Saint -Jacques.

The station was (now Line 6) put into operation on April 24, 1906 opening of the line 2. This wrong time on the Passy- Place d'Italie section. On October 14, 1907, the section of Line 2 was taken from the line 5. On October 30, 1909, the station of the line was opened 4. On 6 October 1942, the route of the line was 5 and 6 changed so that from the time the line 6 stops at the station.
