Dengeki Daioh

The magazine is published monthly with the ASCII Media Works publishing company at a price of 680 yen. The main part of the magazine make various chapters of this manga series and manga short stories. These are often adaptations of well-known anime series or video games; also comedy manga like Azumanga Daioh are included.

At its founding in 1994 Dengeki Daio appeared at Kadokawa Shoten quarterly. Later, it was released by the newly founded publishing company MediaWorks. 2005 the magazine had a circulation of 250,000 copies per issue. 2008 ASCII Media Works and merged to ASCII Media Works, which has since been published in the magazine.
