Deni Alar (2010)

Deni Alar (born 18 January 1990 in Zeltweg, Styria ) is an Austrian football player at the position of a striker. Since 2011 he plays for SK Rapid Wien in the Austrian Bundesliga.

Career

Youth and club career

The striker, who grew up in Austria and son of the Croatian - Austrian football player Goran Alar (born 1962 ), is his footballing career began at the age of six years in the youth teams of FC Zeltweg. At the age of 15, he was by his club in the adult team in the Oberliga Nord (fifth power) used, for he 2004/ 05 two games played in the season. In the following year he game already played 24 of 26 league games in which he scored 15 goals. After Alar again scored 13 goals in the 2006/07 season, the DSV Leoben noticed him and signed him in January 2007 for its amateur team for which he scored a further 14 goals in the current season. He was initially in the amateur team and later alternately in the first team to use. In the summer of 2007, he could sign his first contract as a professional football player for DSV Leoben. After several successful games in the Steel City, he moved in the winter of 2008 after financial problems of the Association for Kapfenberg SV in the Bundesliga. His league debut came on May 2, 2009 compared to SV Ried, when he came on in the 90th minute for Markus Felfernig. The first goal came on 15 May 2009 against Sturm Graz as he gave the 3:3 - scored equalizing goal after a pass from Milan fukal head. On June 3, 2011 will be switching to SK Rapid Wien was announced.

Since September 2009, Alar has Austrian citizenship after he had filed the Croatian. Previously, he was treated as an Austrian, he was already active in the field of Austrian junior teams.

Internationally

On 9 November 2009 Alar was appointed under coach Andreas Herzog for the first time in the U-21 team in Austria. To his nomination he came through the cancellation of Daniel Beichler, who was in the squad of the national team. On 13 November 2009 Alar sat in a 2-2 away draw against the U -21 of Albania, at the Austria U -21 two penalty awarded, the full length on the bench. On 18 May 2010, the striker went to his U-21 international debut when he came on as a substitute in the 1-0 victory over the Welsh U-21 national team in the 61st minute for Atdhe Nuhiu. Besides Alar gave Heinz Lindner, Leonhard Kaufmann, Jürgen Prutsch, Markus Hammerer, Marcel Holzmann, Dominik Doleschal and Luke Kragl further seven players their U-21 debut.
