Denis Dufour

Denis Dufour ( born October 9, 1953 in Lyon ) is a French composer of instrumental music, electroacoustic music and musique concrète.

Dufour first studied in 1972 in Lyon, between 1974-1979 at the Conservatoire de Paris with Ivo Malec New Music, Music analysis with Claude Ballif and electroacoustic music with Pierre Schaeffer and Guy Reibel.

Today he is known both for his instrumental music as well as for its electronic concert deposits, where his oeuvre includes more than 160 compositions.
