Deuce McAllister

Dulymus Jenod ( Deuce ) McAllister (* December 27, 1978 in Lena, Mississippi ) is a former American football player who played in the position of running back for the New Orleans Saints in the NFL. His nickname Deuce he received from his father.

NFL Career

McAllister was picked in the NFL Draft in 2001 at a total of 23 out of the New Orleans Saints. In his rookie season, he was rarely used, since he used the time with Ricky Williams shared. In the following three years, he then latched on to each over 1,000 yards, something that any Saints RB was previously succeeded. Meanwhile, McAllister is the best RB in franchise history at the erlaufenen yards ( 6096 in 8 years ).

McAllister had two serious knee injuries in his career, which ended both the 2005 season and the 2007 season for him early on. Since the Saints in the 2006 draft Reggie Bush picked, he had to deal with this the burden of running the game share. He was released on 17 February 2009 by the New Orleans Saints and gave his career end on 19 January 2010.
