Diarmuid Wilson

Diarmuid Wilson ( born November 20, 1965) is an Irish Fianna Fáil politician and belongs since 2002 to the Seanad Éireann, the upper house of the Irish Parliament.

Wilson attended the St. Patrick 's College, Maynooth and studied at Brunel University in London. In 1999 he was elected to the Cavan County Council, where he served until 2004.

Wilson was elected in 2002 for the Fianna Fáil Seanad Éireann in the 22th. In the next elections in 2007, he was able to defend his position and was re-elected to Seanad Éireann 23.

Diarmuid Wilson is the nephew of the Irish politician and cabinet member John P. Wilson.
