Didier André

Didier André ( born September 3, 1974 in Lyon ) is a French racing driver.

Didier André began his career in 1990 in karting. In 1991, he won the French Elite Championship and placed in the Formula A World Championship in 1991 as the tenth and 1992 as fifth overall. After a year in Formula Renault André drove between 1994 and 1996 regularly in the French Formula 3 Championship. His best finish in the championship was the 13th overall in 1995.

In 1997, the Frenchman in the United States, where he received a contract for work at Autosport team. He played for the team for three seasons in the Indy Lights series. In 2001, he joined the newly founded in 1994 Indy Racing League.
