Dietingen
Dietingen is a municipality in Baden -Württemberg and belongs to the district of Rottweil.
Geography
Dietingen is located in Upper Neckar valley between the Black Forest and the Swabian Alb in 544-623 meters altitude, about five kilometers from the district town of Rottweil.
Neighboring communities
The municipality is bordered to the north by Epfendorf, to the east by Rosenfeld and rooms of the castle in Zollernalbkreis, to the south by the district of Rottweil and Villingen in the west village.
Community structure
The municipality Dietingen includes the formerly independent communities Böhringen, Gößlingen, Irslingen and Red rooms.
- To Böhringen included the village Böhringen and residential places Böhringer mill and Kapellenhof.
- To Dietingen in fron front of the municipal reform of the 1970s included the village Dietingen, castle and homestead Hohenstein, the farm animal stone and the living space Hasler- Wasen.
- To Gößlingen the village belonged Gößlingen.
- To Irslingen included the village Irslingen, houses and chapel Maria Hochheim.
- At community Red rooms included the village Red rooms and the homestead bed Hof.
In the hamlet of Irslingen the Postal animal or stone castle Wildeck is.
History
Dietingen was mentioned in 786 in a document of the monastery of St. Gallen for the first time. The ecclesiastical and secular lords of the villages in the area of today's community changed frequently. 1803, the whole area to Württemberg.Burg Irslingen was once the ancestral home of the von Urslingen in Duke Reinold of Urslingen we meet a famous knight of his time.
The community Dietingen was reformed on 1 October 1974 Association of Municipalities Dietingen and Böhringen. Today's church was established on 1 January 1975 by the union of this church with the community Irslingen. The community Gößlingen was incorporated into Dietingen Already on 1 January 1972.
