Dilovasi is a district of the Turkish province of Kocaeli, while a district of Büyükşehir Belediyesi ( city municipality ) Kocaeli. The village is located about 35 kilometers west of the provincial capital of İzmit.

The district is located in the west of the province, on the northern shores of the Marmara Sea. It is bordered to the west and north Gebze, on the east by Körfez and on the south by the Gulf of İzmit. Through the village passes the European route 80, which leads coming from Edirne until after Ağrı and the Iraqi border. In the center of the county, north of the county town, is a large industrial area. On the shores of the Marmara Sea is the industrial port Yılport.

By Dilovasi the route of the Anatolian Railway from Istanbul Haydarpaşa leads to Ankara.
