Dimitrios Moutas ( born April 15, 1968 in Stuttgart; Nickname: Dimi ) is a former Greek football player. He completed 47 games (15 goals) in the Bundesliga for Stuttgarter Kickers and VfL Bochum and 132 games ( 40 goals) in the 2nd Bundesliga for SC Freiburg and Stuttgart Kickers. He played on the position of the striker and was used in the B National Greece.

Career

After working as a youth player at TV Kemnat, SV Hoffeld and the youth of the Stuttgarter Kickers, he joined the 1st FC Pforzheim in the Oberliga Baden- Württemberg. He scored there in 58 games scoring 20 goals.

After moving to SC Freiburg Dimitrios Moutas made ​​his debut in the Bundesliga 2 in the 5:3 home win against Rot -Weiss Essen. He came on in the 74th minute and scored the goal to 2:3. After two years and 66 games ( 20 goals ) for SC Freiburg, he moved to league rivals Stuttgarter Kickers. He completed his first season in 34 games and scored 13 goals. After promotion to the Bundesliga, he completed a further 32 appearances for the Kickers and scored 12 goals. After the descent of the club, he moved to VfL Bochum, but played only 15 games ( 3 goals ), of which only one party from beginning to end. Then he moved back to the Stuttgarter Kickers in the 2nd Bundesliga, played 32 games and scored seven goals. When the Kickers 4-1 win against FSV Mainz 05 he came to his last mission when he came on in the 82nd minute.

After his professional career in Germany he played for the Greek clubs OFI Crete, Athens and Athinaikos AO Kavala in the Greek first division. In Greece it was used as a defensive player. After that he played for niederklassige clubs in Greece, including for Ethnikos Piraeus as player-coach. He ended his career as a player in 2005.

As a coach, he was active in the second half of the season 2008/ 09 for the Greek club GS Kallithea. In 2010 he graduated as part of its coach education an internship at VfL Wolfsburg.
