Morchelbecherling ( Disciotis venosa )

The Morchelbecherlinge ( Disciotis ) are a genus of sac fungi of the family of Morchelverwandten ( Morchellacea ).

Features

The fruiting bodies of Morchelbecherlinge are short -stalked, very large apothecia, which are cup - to bowl -shaped and have a bent rim. The top of the fruit body is divided yellowish- brown and with branched veins and wrinkles. Sterile ribs as in the related species of morels do not occur. The asci contain eight breitellipsoide, smooth spores can have the small droplets at the ends.

Ecology

The Morchelbecherlinge are saprobiontische residents loose ground, they are found in thickets and riparian forests.
