Displeased Records
Displeased Records is a Dutch independent label based in Zaandam. Besides working as a music label Displeased Records is a distributor for various independent label for the Benelux countries and operates under the name of Dis -order a mail order business. The label was founded in 1993 and initially took mostly unknown bands under contract; until the end of the decade it took on even more well-known groups. For contracts with new bands such be chosen, which contacted the label itself, unsolicited demo recordings are not used. In addition to the release of new albums, the label has specialized in the re-release of albums known metal bands from the 1980s and 1990s.
