Dissing Weitling

Dissing wide Ling is an international design and architecture firm based in Copenhagen, Denmark. The office is known for designing well-known bridges, ranging from small pedestrian and bicycle bridges to some of the longest bridges in the world.

History

The namesake Hans Dissing (1926-1998) and Otto Weitling were both executives of the office of Arne Jacobsen. After his death in 1971, she founded an architectural partnership, in order to complete the work begun Jacobsen. These projects included the Mainz town hall, a cottage area on Fehmarn and the Danish Embassy in London. 1972 won Dissing Weitling the tender for the IBM Centre in Hamburg's City Nord and the art collection of North Rhine -Westphalia in Dusseldorf.
