Dmitri Hvorostovsky

Dmitri Alexandrovich Chworostowski ( internationally known in English transliteration as Dmitri Hvorostovsky, Russian Дмитрий Александрович Хворостовский, scientific transliteration Dmitri Aleksandrovich Hvorostovskij; born October 16, 1962 in Krasnoyarsk, Soviet Union ) is a Russian opera singer in the vocal range baritone.

Career

Hvorostovsky studied in Krasnoyarsk singing and debuted at the local state opera house as Marullo in Verdi's Rigoletto.
